Pressure Cooker Instant Chicken Biryani Recipe-
Easy and quick Pressure Cooker Chicken Biryani, delicious tender chunks of chicken cooked with rice & Indian spices in a Pressure cooker to create an authentic takeaway style curry for all to enjoy at home. This is served up in our house every week! So quick and easy to make, the pressure cooker brings this simple Indian dish to the table in record time. This is very delicious instant making mouth watering dish.
Ingredients
- 1/2 bowl oil
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 2 Onion Diced
- 1 tomato chopped
- 500 gram Chicken
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 12 nos Green chilli small size
- Water as required
- Biryani Spices
- 2 Bay Leaf
- 2 tsp Cumin seed
- 1 tbsp fennel
- to taste Salt
- Powder masala –
- 1 tbsp Roasted cumin powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander powder
- 1 tbsp Biryani powder
- 1/4 tbsp black pepper
- 1 pinch green colour
- 1 pinch yellow colour
- 500 grams Basmati Rice
- 1 tbsp Kewda water
- 2 tbsp curd
- 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander or dried coriander leaf
Steps
Wash the Chicken well and keep aside cover it.
Place the pressure cooker on fry/saute mode and add the oil fry the whole cumin seed bay leaf green chilli fennel till crackle and flavor
Add onion and soft sauté for 5 Minutes
Add the Ginger Garlic paste, Chicken, stir.
Add the yogurt, tomato chopped, stir.
Add all the spices and fry for 10 minutes until chicken has browned. Turn off fry mode.
Place the 500 gram rice on top of chikan,one and half glass water,Ghee,coriander leaf, 1 tbsp kewda water and stir all together.
Secure the lid, close the valve and cook on manual/pressure cooker mode for 10 minutes, let it release naturally for 10 minutes, then open the valve to release the remaining pressure.
Add food orange green colour in chikan birani and cover it for 5 minute.
Now Chicken biryani is ready to eat
Serve up and sprinkle some fresh coriander on top and enjoy!!
