SAHI MAKHANA KHEER I ROYAL MAKHANA KHEER RECIPE I SAHI MAKHANA PUDDING RECIPE -
Shahi Kheer, also called Makahana Kheer is a very traditional pudding-like sweet dessert. Makhana is puffed lotus flower seed and looks like popcorn. Shahi means rich and royal. The textures of the dry fruit , and the creaminess of the milk makes this a delicious dessert. Adding the sugar with kewada water fragrance and food colour and cardamom adds a very subtle and different taste to the kheer.
You can make Shahi Makhana Kheer during fasting, you can make it during festivals or on arrival of guest and enjoy it.
Ingredients
- 1 bowl Foxnut
- 2 tbsp Raisin
- 1 tbsp Pista
- 1 tbsp Almond
- 1 tbsp Cashew
- 1/4 tbsp Cardomom powder
- 5 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Ghee
Steps
Turned the induction on and put the pan to heat up.Put ghee in the pan and heat it.
Put the Makhane in the pan and fry till it turns golden brown in color.
Makhana has turned golden brown in color and now take it out in a plate or bowl.Pressing the Makhane into small pieces with the help of hand.
On induction, 1 liter of milk is heated to a boil.
After adding the milk and all the dry fruits and a pinch of yellow color to the milk, the medium flames will continue to run till it gets thick and cooked.
Keep stirring the pudding evenly so that it does not stick to the bottom.
Kevda mixes water in kheer, which increases the fragrance and taste.
Turn off the induction and leave the kheer to cool for a while.
Now take out the Sahi Makhana kheer in a bowl.
Shahi Makhana Kheer is ready and you can enjoy it.You can eat Shahi Makhana Kheer after cooling it and it will taste even more wonderful.
