Chicken Kofta curry recipe i Chicken Meatball recipe restaurant style I Chiken kofta Gravey

The Chicken Kofta Curry is a delicious flavour packed chicken curry simmered in a tomato onion gravy and simmer along with chicken kofta balls. This is the recipe that everyone to try out dish. There are many different versions to make the kofta curry but we have made it by using simple ingredients spice and fresh herbs in this one pot curry. The sautéing of the spice mixture along with onions and tomato is what makes this curry special and give in the extra taste to the curry.







Serve this delicious Chicken Kofta Curry along with a Roti,Paratha, Naan, and Rice for a delicious Indian Dinner

Ingredients

 5 servings
  1. For the Chicken Kofta
  2. 250 gm Chicken breasts, minced
  3. 1 Onion, chopped
  4. 1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli flax
  5. 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  6. Coriander (Dhania) Leaves, small bucnh, chopped
  7. 1 chopped green chilli
  8. 1 egg
  9. 2 tbsp bread crumb
  10. 1/2 ginger garlic paste
  11. to taste Salt
  12. 1/2 tbsp rosted cumin powder
  13. 1/4 black paper powder
  14. 1/2 coriander powder
  15. For the Kofta Curry Gravy
  16. 2 Onion, finely sliced and fry
  17. 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  18. 1 cups Homemade tomato puree
  19. 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  20. 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  21. 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  22. 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  23. to taste Salt,
  24. Coriander (Dhania) Leaves, small bunch, chopped
  25. 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  26. to taste Salt,
  27. 1/2 bowl Oil
  28. 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
  29. 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  30. 1/4 tbsp Black pepper
  31. Cinemun stick 1 inch
  32. Cloves 3peace
  33. Green cardomom 2peace
  34. Bay leaf 2peace
  35. 2 tbsp Curd

Steps

  1. For making Chicken Kofta ball

     

    To begin making the Chicken Kofta Curry Recipe, first prep all the ingredients and keep it ready.

     

    To mince the chicken, place it in your mixer grinder jar and mince until smooth.

  2. To make chicken kofta, In a mixing bowl, put the minced chicken in it and add chopped onion coriander leaves, green chili.

     

    In the bowl, add all the spices, salt according to taste, add cumin powder garam masala powder black pepper, coriander powder, crushed red chili and well to combine and make balls of the mixture and keep aside in Refrigerator for 30 minutes to set.

  3. For making kofta curry--

     

    The next step is to make the kofta curry gravy.

     

    Heat oil 1/2 bowl or ghee in a pan; add the whole spices bay leaf,cloves,green cardomom, Cinnamon and Saute.

  4. Add the ginger and garlic paste and Saute for 2minute. 

    Add the tomatoes puree and all the spices and cook for 2 minutes.

     

    Curd and onion paste are added and roasted.

  5. Fry spices well by adding some water until they release oil.

  6. Add a glass of water to the spices. To make the curry, you can keep the curry consistency thin according to your taste and cook till it comes to a boil.

     

    Curry is cooked now add chiken ball and cook it for 10 minutes.

  7. Finely chopped coriander leaves add green chili to the curry and cook for 1 minutes.

  8. Mix one teaspoon of Kevda water and cook it for about 1 minute.

     

    It will take about 2 to 3 minutes. Ensure you cover the pan and simmer the chicken kofta curry. Once done, cut the kofta a little to check if it is cooked. You can add water to adjust the consistency of the Chicken Kofta Curry.

  9. Check the salt and spices of the Chicken Kofta Curry and adjust according to your taste.

  10. Once done, stir in the cream and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes and turn off the heat. Transfer the Chicken Kofta Curry into a serving bowl, stir in the coriander leaves and serve hot.

  11. Serve this delicious Chicken Kofta Curry along with a Garlic Naan, Roti,paratha and Rice for a delicious Indian Dinner.
